These roles focus on delivering learning and engagement activities for young people and adults, outside of mainstream education and disadvantaged groups in the community. Jobs in this area include education delivery and development, further education and skills, employability services, museum and heritage education and social enterprises.
Raising awareness for a charity is incredibly important in delivering their overall objective. These types of roles are usually suited to those with experience of delivering or developing educational programmes for children and young people, such as teachers, outreach workers or curriculum developers. Importantly, a clear passion for learning and development for people at a disadvantage is key.
We also recruit educational specialists for universities, colleges and training providers. A typical role in this sector will fall within administration, student services, student recruitment, registry, student welfare, course coordination, quality assurance, events, and office support.
Jobs in this sector are critical to ensuring the learner journey is effective and a positive experience. Often, these education institutions look for those with existing experience in higher or further education administration but those with experience in professional membership bodies or awarding bodies will also present good transferrable skills.
