National Inclusion Week is a chance to celebrate, share, learn and embrace inclusion! Here at TPP, we are thrilled to be joining and putting the spotlight on inclusivity and show our passion and commitment for inclusion and equity for everyone.
This year’s theme, Impact Matters, centres around identifying opportunities and measuring the impact to be able to drive and encourage a meaningful change. Here’s a peek into how TPP and our EDI Steering Group have been making waves and the impact we have made over the years.
Our commitment to inclusion
At TPP, it all started with a plan – The Action Plan – driven by a simple yet powerful mission: “TPP – real people creating opportunity and inclusion for all.”
As recruiters, we believe we have a unique opportunity, not only to improve inclusion within our own team but to extend our influence beyond our walls, creating a positive impact for both our candidates and clients. Our goal is to create a culture of inclusion that truly makes a difference and leaves a lasting impact. We see the recruitment industry at the heart of the EDI landscape, and we’re committed to doing everything we can to make a meaningful, lasting change.
Back in 2020, with the help of Inclusive Employers (read more about our journey with them here), we established our Six Inclusion Pillars:
Celebrating our impact
So, what have we achieved since 2020? And what impact have we had in the sector we are so passionate about? Our Altogether Better initiatives:
Learning
Our team has dedicated countless hours to training and development, participating in both mandatory and shared learning sessions. We learn from one another, in a supportive and safe environment where everyone feels comfortable and valued. By teaching and respecting each other, we put inclusion into practice, continually growing and sharing new knowledge.
Supporting our candidates
We strive to see things from our candidates' perspective, stepping into their shoes and considering everything we can do to make their experience with TPP as positive and inclusive as possible.
We deeply value each one of our candidates—and as recruiters in the non-profit sector, we are truly honoured to support so many incredible individuals who dedicate their careers to making a difference. We recognise that everyone has their own unique needs and individuality and are committed to giving everyone an equal and fair chance. To support this, we’ve made our website more accessible with Recite Me technology, created a Careers Support Hub full of advice and resources, and introduced virtual workshops and inclusion statements for temporary assignments to ensure all candidates are treated fairly.
Proud Ambassadors
We have proudly become Ambassadors of Hope and continue to search for ways in which we can use this privilege and our platform to create impactful changes.
Our awards – recognising our efforts
Our efforts haven’t gone unnoticed and here are some of the recognitions we are immensely proud of:
The future
Reflecting on our progress and the impact we've made so far is encouraging, it is an ongoing journey that is continuously evolving. We’ll keep working towards our goals, updating our dedicated EDI page so everyone can follow our progress. There's still so much to achieve, but one thing is certain: we will ensure equity remains at the core of everything we do.
Thank you for joining us in celebrating National Inclusion Week! Here’s to continuing our mission of driving impactful and sustainable change!
