Are you passionate about using sports to inspire change and make a difference? Join this well-known health charity at an exciting time, as they deliver a new 3-year Fundraising Strategy.

As the Sporting Events Manager, you'll take the lead on delivering the charity's flagship event and be instrumental in driving meaningful impact. Here's your chance to bring people together through walking, running, and cycling events, while supporting an organisation committed to saving lives.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and Inspire: Oversee the strategy for the flagship event, creating an unforgettable experience that motivates participants to fundraise and builds a lasting impact.
  • Strategic Event Management: From developing marketing plans to managing budgets, you'll have ownership of the event lifecycle, ensuring goals are met and exceeded.
  • Collaboration and Engagement: Work across teams and with external partners to enhance event performance and participant experience, with a special focus on inclusivity and representation.
  • Data-Driven Excellence: Utilise insights to tailor engagement strategies, optimise returns, and ensure every event resonates with supporters' needs and motivations.
  • Management: direct line management an events executive and events officer.

About You:

  • You have a solid background in large-scale fundraising events, with a knack for balancing complex priorities and managing both people and budgets effectively.
  • Using insights and analytics, you know how to boost engagement and maximise event outcomes.
  • Your ability to engage and inspire team members and stakeholders ensures that everyone shares a unified vision for success.
  • You believe in making events accessible and inclusive, encouraging participation from all backgrounds.
