TPP are looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to support the external quality assurance of assessments during a busy period. This is a temporary, full-time position for approximately 12 weeks, offering fully remote or hybrid working options.

Benefits Package
  • Salary: £14.90 per hour (equivalent to up to £28,684 per annum)
  • Contract: Temporary, 12 weeks
  • Hours: 37 per week (Monday-Thursday 8:30-17:00, Friday 8:30-16:30, with potential flexibility for out-of-hours work)

About the Organisation
This awarding organisation plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of assessment processes across a range of qualifications. The Quality Assurance team ensures assessments meet regulatory requirements and provides expert support to centres, external quality assurers, and operational teams. With a strong focus on compliance and customer service, the team works closely with education providers to uphold standards and improve processes.

About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the assessment process, ensuring the accuracy of results and liaising with centres to address outstanding actions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Communicating with customers via phone and email, chasing outstanding actions from colleges and schools.
  • Processing and managing large volumes of assessment data, including results and marks.
  • Attending short daily team meetings to stay aligned on priorities.
  • Working in a fast-paced, reactive environment where attention to detail and transparency are key.
  • Assisting in compliance monitoring to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling queries and providing expert guidance on external quality assurance.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate data records in line with GDPR.
  • Supporting the development of quality assurance processes and training materials.
  • Identifying and resolving risks, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve efficiency and service delivery.

Skills / Experience Required
  • Strong administrative skills with experience in a regulated or education-related environment.
  • Previous experience within a centre, college, training provider, or awarding organisation would be ideal
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work with large datasets accurately and efficiently.
  • Customer service experience, with confidence in liaising with stakeholders at various levels.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and transparency in resolving issues.
