Do you have a little “Thyme”? Garden Makeover Project Hemel Hempstead 27th July 10 - 3pm.
Mencap runs and manages homes across the UK for people with a learning disability, many of which have outdoor spaces that need maintaining. These are important spaces for the people we support to get outdoors and interact with nature, and each other.
We support a lady and a gentleman in Hemel Hempstead, and they would like some help to give their garden a makeover, to create a colourful and vibrant space to enjoy this summer.
As one of our volunteers on the day, you would not need to be a garden expert, but we do wish you have a passion for being outdoors and getting your hands dirty.
