Our client is looking for an experienced Director of Enablement to join their team and drive meaningful change. In this position, you'll lead the strategic development and implementation of key operational areas, including systems, finance, marketing, and engagement.

You'll also play a vital role in ensuring the organisation is optimally resourced and structured to meet the growing needs of its beneficiaries. This is an excellent role for someone who is passionate about making a difference and has the skills to lead and inspire teams.

As the Director of Enablement, you'll have the chance to work closely with the CEO, Trustees, and the wider Executive Team to develop and implement strategies that will shape the future of the organisation.

Working arrangements: Flexible hybrid working (two office days per week)
Location: Warwickshire area

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the organisation’s strategy
  • Lead and inspire teams across various operational areas
  • Deliver financial, operational, marketing, and insight strategies
  • Build strong relationships with ICAEW and accounting firms
  • Ensure effective resource allocation and organisational structure
  • Report regularly to Trustees on progress and compliance


The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong business skills with an understanding of the charity sector
  • Strategic thinking skills, capable of leading cultural and structural changes
  • Proven ability to develop and advance teams, promoting a collaborative culture
  • Skills in problem-solving and decision-making
  • A deep understanding of improving operational performance and financial sustainability
